Our Story
Two people. One building. A Dream Realized.
Christi is a third-generation antique dealer. Her grandmother ran a restaurant and shop which rented rooms upstairs in Dorset, MN and then another shop in Eldon, IA. Her parents started American Gothic antique mall and ran it for fifteen years in Stillwater, MN. Her mother Janie was one of the first dealers in the historic Mill Antiques. Christi has been selling vintage and antiques on Etsy for years with over 2,000 sales and a 5 star rating. She knows what a beautiful thing is worth. She’s often said, every piece of furniture in her house growing up was for sale!
Mike is a former teacher, an award winning videographer, and a 5 star handyman who has co-renovated two turn-of-the-century homes with Christi. Together they saw what 405 North Main could be so they decided to jump in and make the move from their lifelong home in the St. Croix Valley to make Christi’s vision come to life in another beautiful river town on the WI/MN border.
Mrs. Hippie Inn & Antiques opened in 2026. The building is historic. The inventory rotates. The welcome is permanent.
